Program Information

Compliance with workplace health and safety standards has become more important than ever before. This program examines the fundamentals of occupational health and safety and addresses essential management practices in this area. This program is ideally suited to those who already have business experience and are interested in furthering their career in the health and safety sector.

This certificate meets the academic requirements for the Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST) certification under Pathway A. This program provides the specialized education required by the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) for this national designation. Credentials College-Approved Certificate

Residency Students must complete a minimum number of credits in this program with their registering college to meet the Program Residency requirement to graduate from the program.

Completion All courses must be completed within five years of acceptance into the program.
