Program Information

he French certificate consists of five online courses. The program content is aligned to level 8 NCLC (Niveaux de compétence Linguistique canadiens) guidelines and provides students an opportunity to meet French language requirements for various government positions or any other employment opportunities requiring French. Students will work on authentic assignments, and assessments will provide students with a real-world learning experience.

Graduates of this French certificate will have strong communications skills in the four competencies of reading, writing, speaking and listening, and will also develop an appreciation of French culture.

Credentials College-Approved Certificate

Residency Students must complete a minimum number of credits in this program with their registering college to meet the Program Residency requirement to graduate from the program.

Completion All courses must be completed within five years of acceptance into the program.
