Thanatology: Reflection and Lived Experience (formerly: Learning from Death & Dying)
Course Information
Students will explore loss, dying, death and grief through reflection of their own experiences, alongside the review of other personal and professional narratives on lived experiences to enhance their holistic knowledge of thanatology and death education. This will include a review of the evolving frameworks and approaches within thanatology, and the opportunity for students to share their own reflections and insights about dying, death and bereavement in contemporary society.
