Society, Technology and Social Issues
Course Information
Critically examine the influence of technology on human interaction. Assess the benefits and impact of technology on individuals and society, as well as the ethical dilemmas associated with the use of these technologies. Examine current technologies (including, but not limited to, genetically modified organisms, surveillance, automation software, and 3-D printing) and explore emerging technologies (nanotechnology, bioengineering, and artificial intelligence).
