Course Information

Care Principles and Practice II continues to provide the learner with opportunities to build on their knowledge and skills that will help them meet the needs of the client. Study will include theoretical concepts and care skills, as well as simulation case studies. There are 24 hours of theory and lab practice, and 76 hours of community-based placement. Successful completion of this course requires a student to achieve a satisfactory grade in all three of the following components: written knowledge evaluation, video demonstrations, and community practicum.
