Professional Aspects of Nursing B (Hyflex PN)
Course Information
Professional Aspects of Nursing B is the second of two courses that guide students as they explore the role of the practical nurse within the health care team. This course assists the student to examine current trends and issues in the health care system. Students will have an opportunity to explore more complex legal, ethical, social and professional aspects of nursing. Analytical and professional interpersonal communication skills are embedded throughout. The following theoretical beliefs and approaches to nursing practice are integrated throughout, including humanistic caring, reflective practice, therapeutic use of self, health promotion, adaptation and critical thinking.
