Marketing Law
Course Information
This course will introduce students to critical Canadian laws and regulations and how traditional and online marketing decisions impact Canadian consumers. Students will evaluate the current legal and ethical standards, including consumer privacy (PIPEDA), through research, guided discussion, and Canadian case studies. By the end of the course, students will recognize critical legal and ethical exposures in various marketing situations.
