Grief Literacy: Exploring Loss and Bereavement
Course Information
In this course, students will be introduced to grief literacy, which is our ability to understand and respond to loss, and support the bereavement process. A variety of perspectives on loss and grief will be explored, including historical and current bereavement theories. Students will develop the ability to describe the factors that influence bereavement across the lifespan, and through diverse death experiences.
