Fundamentals of Caregiving
Course Information
Over 8 million Canadians provide care to friends and loved ones in need. If this number included those who provide care as part of their career the number would grow exponentially. The goal of this course is to help current and future caregivers improve personally and professionally, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to provide high quality care in a community setting. The course will explore the traits of successful caregivers and how to develop them. It will also focus on foundational knowledge, including health and wellness, boundaries and caregiver burnout.
