Family and Family Systems

Course Information

Discover a generalist approach to working with families through a lens that highlights connection, collaboration, and systemic insight. Learn how to navigate the stages of family intervention—from engagement and assessment to intervention and termination—while contrasting individual approaches with a family systems perspective. Uncover how family dynamics, interactions, and structures shape behaviors and contribute to challenges that lead individuals to seek professional support. This learning builds a powerful foundation for practitioners to approach family work with empathy, structure, and effectiveness in diverse professional contexts.
