Course Information

This course will present theoretical perspectives on learning disorders. Current research findings will be discussed. Neurodevelopmental disorders which impact learning will be the focus. on issues related to special education and community needs. An overview of various exceptionalities impacting learning, including learning disabilities, behavioural disorders, gifted, developmentally delayed, hearing impairment, physical disabilities, language delay and disorders will be provided and linkages with special education and community needs will be generated.
