Biochemistry and Pathophysiology (PN-BScN)
Course Information
In this course, you will relate clinical biochemistry to client disease states commonly encountered in nursing practice. Using a case-oriented approach, you will expand your knowledge of pathophysiology by interpreting the alterations in levels of key chemical markers in a variety of patient samples. You will explore the utility of clinical biochemistry as means of guiding disease diagnosis and clinical judgement in the evaluation of therapeutics.
