Bereavement Support and Therapies (formerly: Coping with Death)
Course Information
Students will be introduced to various bereavement support and grief therapies and will explore different forms of grief assessment and interventions. There will be an opportunity to research and reflect on complementary therapies, such as art therapy, and explore the elements of the therapeutic relationship. Additionally, students will develop an enhanced awareness of the practical, moral and ethical issues associated with bereavement support.
