Basic Concepts of Reliability
Course Information
This course presents the concepts of reliability integrated with statistical techniques used in other areas of quality assurance. Special emphasis will be given to the study of Probability as applied to the reliability field. It provides a summary of methods and procedures of reliability statistics for professional designers and test and reliability personnel. Topics include a review of distributions, reliability management, safety in reliability, reliability in the design stage, product liability, apportionment, concepts of maintainability and availability, and systems reliability.
