Course Information

This course begins with analyzing learners’ needs, teaching contexts, and instructional goals to ensure AI is applied purposefully and effectively. You’ll explore how generative AI tools can streamline course design, from developing learning objectives and structures to creating engaging content and assessments. Through guided practice using DESIGN Framework, you’ll learn to Discover context, Engineer effective learning design prompts, Structure learning pathways, Innovate engaging content, Generate multimedia materials, and Nurture quality and ethical standards, Beyond creating AI-enhanced materials, you’ll develop strategies for communicating your expertise, marketing your courses effectively, and building your identity as an educator using AI. By course completion, you’ll have a ready-to-implement course module, a personalized AI use policy, and skills to articulate your value in today’s educational landscape. It is strongly recommended that students have a mastery of competencies usually obtained by completing SH-PROG70050 AI Prompt Engineering and SH-PROG70052 Agentic AI.
